Sun Yujie

Sun Yujie

Sun Yujie ( Chinese  孙玉洁 , Pinyin Sūn Yùjié ; born August 10, 1992 in Anshan ) is a Chinese sword fencer and Olympic champion .

Sun began fencing in 2003. In 2009, she won the Junior World Championships in Belfast in Degen -Single. At the 2011 World Championships , she came second in both individual and team competitions. In 2012 she won silver in the individual at the Asian Championships in Wakayama , at the Olympic Games she received the gold medal with the team, in the individual she won the battle for bronze against Shin A-lam with 15:11. In 2013 she won bronze in the individual at the Asian Championships in Shanghai .
