Sophie Michèle Moressée-Pichot (born April 3, 1962 in Sissonne ) is a former French sword fencer and modern pentathlete .

Sophie Moressée-Pichot has won numerous medals in fencing at world championships . She secured two silver and two bronze medals each in individual competitions, with the team she initially won two silver and one bronze. She celebrated her greatest success in the team competition in 1998 in La Chaux-de-Fonds when she became world champion with the French team. She took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and finished tenth in the individual. With the team she stood after victories over Cuba and Russia in the final, which was won against Italy with 45:33. In addition to Moressée-Pichot, Laura Flessel-Colovic and Valérie Barlois became Olympic champions . At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , she finished fifth with the team.

In modern pentathlon she won several medals at world championships in team competition. In 1986 she became world champion with the French team. In the individual, she also achieved her best result in 1986 with the silver medal.
