Jan-Simon Senft (born June 11, 1982 in Cologne ) is a German foil fencer . He fought for OFC Bonn until the end of 2012 , took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and was European champion and German runner-up.

successes

With the team, Senft was sixth at the 2004 Olympic Games together with André Weßels and Peter Joppich in the men's floret team competition , but he did not compete in the individual. In 2003 he became European individual champion in Bourges , and a year earlier in Moscow he was also vice European champion . In the junior age class he was third in the junior team world championship in 2000 and 2002 and also won the individual European championship in 2000.

Senft was twice third in the German championships in individual ( 2002 and 2003 ) and with the OFC Bonn 2006 German vice-team champion.
