European Fencing Championships 1991
The European Fencing Championships in 1991 took place in Vienna . It was the first European championships since 1983 . In addition to four individual competitions, this time team competitions were also held. Since the third place in the individual was not fought out, both semi-finalists received a bronze medal. The most successful nation with nine first places was Hungary.
