Spała is a village in the Polish municipality of Inowłódz ( Powiat Tomaszowski , Łódź Voivodeship ) with 400 inhabitants.

history

In the Russian Empire there was a hunting ground of the tsarist family here with an associated hunting lodge . During the Second World War , the military commander of the General Government , General of the Cavalry Curt Freiherr von Gienanth , stayed in the castle .

Today the place is known for the eponymous conservation area and the Olympic sports center with its institutions and sports facilities.
