Zsuzsanna Jánosi-Németh (born January 19, 1963 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian foil fencer .

successes

Zsuzsanna Jánosi became world champion with the team in Lausanne in 1987 and also won a silver medal and two bronze medals with her between 1983 and 1994. In 1991 she was European champion with the team in Vienna , in the individual she won bronze. In 1993 he won the silver medal. Jánosi took part in three Olympic Games : in 1988 in Seoul she reached the semi-finals unbeaten with the Hungarian team, in which they lost 3: 9 to Italy . The team then won the battle for third place against the Soviet Union 9-2, so that Jánosi received the bronze medal together with Katalin Tuschák , Edit Kovács , Gertrúd Stefanek and Zsuzsanna Szőcs . She also reached the semi-finals in singles, which she lost to Anja Fichtel 5: 8. She also just lost the battle for bronze against Zita Funkenhauser 7: 8. She finished the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona in ninth place in singles and seventh place in the team competition. 1996 she was in Atlanta in the individual eleventh, while she just missed a medal win with the team in fourth place.
