Günter Jauch (* 1965 ) is a former German fencer , German Champion, team European champion in 1991 , and -vizeweltmeister 1989 . He fought at Heidenheimer SB .

Before Jauch switched to Heidenheimer SB, he fought at TG Schwenningen, where he won several Württemberg junior championships in foil and epee. Later he specialized in the epee and won the German individual championships in epee fencing in 1990 , in 1989 and 1994 he was third. In the 1980s and 1990s, the Heidenheimer SB team also won several championship titles and medals at the men's epee team championships, but the exact team line-ups are not known.

In 1989 Jauch was part of the men's sword team, which finished second at the World Championships in Denver . In addition to Jauch, it consisted of Elmar Borrmann , Robert Felisiak , Stefan Hörger and Thomas Gerull . At the European Championships in 1991 Jauch won together with Andre Kühnemund , Patrick Draenert and Ingo Grausam before Austria and Czechoslovakia. In the individual he was 38. In the same year he also took part in the Summer Universiade in Sheffield , which he could also win with the team. In the individual, he took 13th place here.
