Fencing World Championships 2019

The 2019 World Fencing Championships took place from July 15 to 23, 2019 in the Hungarian capital Budapest .

The program included competitions for women as well as men in the disciplines of épée, foil and saber. In each discipline an individual and a team competition was fought. In total there were 12 gold and 12 silver medals to be won. Third place was not fought in the individual, but in the team. Therefore, due to the shared third place, there were 18 bronze medals.
