Jana Karapetowna Jegorjan ( Russian Яна Карапетовна Егорян , Armenian Յանա Կարապետի Եգորյան , Jana Karapeti Jegorjan , English Yana Egorian ; born December 20, 1993 in Yerevan , Armenia ) is a Russian saber fighter of Armenian origin.

In 2010 Jana Karapetovna Jegorjan won the European Junior Championships in Lobnja both individually and with the team. She won two gold medals at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. In 2012 she won the Junior World Championships in singles in Moscow .

In 2013 she became European team champion as an active player in Zagreb and won silver at the World Championships in Budapest , with her team losing to the team from Ukraine by just 44:45. In 2014 she was again European team champion in Strasbourg and won bronze in the individual at the World Championships in Kazan . In 2019 she again won gold with the team at the European Championships .

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , Yegorjan won the gold medal with the Russian saber team together with Sofja Velikaya , Julija Gavrilowa and Yekaterina Djachenko . In the individual saber competition, she won another Olympic gold medal.

In 2016 she received the national athlete of the year award .
