Olena Mykolaivna Khomrowa ( Ukrainian Олена Миколаївна Хомрова ; born May 16, 1987 in Mykolaiv ) is a Ukrainian saber fencer and Olympic champion .

Khomrowa won her first international medal at the European Championships in 2005 when she won the bronze medal with the team. At the 2006 World Fencing Championships she reached 16th place in the individual ranking. In 2007 she won both European Championship silver and World Championship silver behind the French with the team . At the European Championships she also won bronze in singles.

At the European Championships in 2008, she and the team lost in the final against the Poles. A month later at the Olympic Games in Beijing she finished eighth in the individual standings, in the team standings Olha Charlan , Olha Shownir , Halyna Pundyk and Olena Khomrowa won the gold medal with a final victory over the Chinese women.

In 2009 the Ukrainian saber fencers won gold twice in the team standings: At the European Championships they won the final against the Russians and at the World Championships against the French; in the individual evaluation Khomrowa took seventh place at the world championship. In 2010 the Ukrainians successfully defended their European Championship title , with the Russians again being their final opponents. At the World Championships in Paris Chomrowa won a bronze medal in individual. In 2011 she won silver with the team at the European Championships in Sheffield and at the World Championships in Catania . In 2012 she again won silver with the team at the European Championships in Legnano .
