Wioletta Witaljewna Kolobowa ( Russian Виолетта Витальевна Колобова ; born July 27, 1991 in Dzerzhinsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian sword fencer .

successes

Wioletta Kolobowa achieved most of her successes at the international level in team competition. In the individual, she was particularly successful at the European Championships : in 2015 in Montreux and 2017 in Tbilisi , she was each European champion. She won this title with the team in Legnano in 2012 , and she won four more silver medals and one bronze medal with her. In 2013 in Budapest and 2014 in Kazan Kolobova became world champion with the team . Twice she took part in the Olympicspart. In 2012 in London she finished 27th in the individual, with the team she just missed winning a medal. After an opening win against Ukraine , the Russian team was eliminated in the semi-finals against China . In the battle for bronze she then lost to the United States with 30:31. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she finished the individual competition in 22nd place. With the team, which consisted of Lyubow Schutowa , Olga Kotschnewa and Tatiana Logunowa in addition to Kolobowa , she moved into the battle for bronze against Estonia , which was won 37:31, after a victory against France and a loss against Romania .
