Alice Volpi

Alice Volpi (born April 15, 1992 in Siena ) is an Italian fencer in the foil branch . She became individual and team world champion in this discipline.

Alice Volpi is the daughter of an Italian father and a Brazilian mother. At the fencing world championships in Leipzig in 2017 , she took second place in the individual foil competition and thus won the silver medal. She was also a member of the Italian women's foil team at the same World Cup, which won the gold medal in the team competition. At the 2018 World Fencing Championships in Wuxi , she became world champion in the individual foil and won the silver medal with the women's foil team. She also won several medals at European championships.
