Cornelia Hanisch

Cornelia Hanisch (born June 12, 1952 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German fencer and multiple world champion.

Life

Hanisch trained in the fencing club Offenbach from 1863 e. V. , was individual world champion in foil fencing in 1979 , 1981 and 1985 . In 1984 she was with the team Olympic champion at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . Cornelia Hanisch was German champion in 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1982 .

She works as a vocational school teacher for German, economics, mathematics and vocational studies at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule in Offenbach (as of 2012). Hanisch is on the jury of the annual Schlappekicker Prize awarded by the Frankfurter Rundschau , which is awarded, among other things, to individuals, groups and associations with a social and integrative effect. For the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB for short) she took on sponsorship and patronage for sporting topics and events. Hanisch is a member of NOK Germany .
