Annemarie "Mirl" Buchner-Fischer (born February 16, 1924 in Ettal ; † November 9, 2014 ) was a German ski racer .

Annemarie Buchner won five German championships between 1944 and 1949 , two each in downhill and combined and one in slalom. At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , the Garmisch-Partenkirchen- based athlete won the silver medal in the downhill and the bronze medal in the giant slalom and slalom . At the slalom on February 20, 1952 in Rødkleiva , she was only placed 8th after the first run.

For these athletic achievements, she received the Silver Laurel Leaf on March 11, 1952.

On January 22nd, 1954, Mirl Buchner-Fischer won the Hahnenkamm giant slalom in Kitzbühel, and came fifth in the downhill run on January 23rd. At the Kandahar races held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , she won in the downhill (March 12th - 1.45 seconds ahead of Erika Mahringer ), in the slalom and thus also in the combination (March 14th).

At the 1954 World Championships in Åre she was without a medal: After finishing 14th in the downhill on March 1st, three days later she was 4 tenths of a second missing the bronze medal won by Janette Burr (USA) in the giant slalom .

In 1948 she was voted Germany's Sportswoman of the Year , in the election on December 22, 1952, she came in fourth with 1,148 points and was practically in. Apart from second place for the figure skater couple Ria and Paul Falk the best lady in the individual ranking (winner Karl Kling received 1,744 points). Buchner ran a sports shop in Garmisch (February 1993).
