Karin Reichert
Karin Reichert-Frisch , b. Frisch (born January 17, 1941 in Stuttgart ) is a former German athlete and Olympic participant who was successful in the 100-meter and 80-meter hurdles in the 1960s - starting for Germany .
The highlight of her career was the European Championships in 1966 , where she won three medals (under her maiden name Karin Frisch):
- Silver in the 100 meter run (11.8 s)
- Silver in the 80-meter hurdles (10.7 s)
- Bronze with the 4 x 100 meter relay (44.5 s, together with Renate Meyer , Hannelore Trabert and Jutta Stöck ).
For this success she was elected Sportswoman of the Year in the Federal Republic of Germany in 1966 (in the event of a tie, together with Helga Hoffmann ). She also started at the Olympic Games in 1964 and 1968 , but without medal success. Reichert started for the Stuttgarter Kickers , from 1966 for 1. FV Salamander Kornwestheim . In her active time she was 1.72 m tall and weighed 55 kg.
For her athletic achievements, she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf on May 10, 1967 under the name Karin Frisch.
She has been married to Hans Ulrich Reichert since 1968 and has a daughter and four grandchildren.
