Ildikó Farkasinszky-Bóbis (born September 5, 1945 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian foil fencer .
successes
Ildikó Bóbis was world champion with the team in Montreal in 1967 and in Gothenburg in 1973 . In addition, she took second place four times with her. She won the individual title in Grenoble in 1974 , and there were two more bronze medals in 1967 and 1975 . She took part in three Olympic Games and won a medal in the team competition in all participations. In 1968 she reached the final against the Soviet Union with the team in Mexico City , which was lost 3: 9. Also in 1972 in Munich she and the team were left behind in the final against the Soviet team. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she won the bronze medal with the Hungarian team. She was also successful in singles: after leaving the preliminary round in 1968, she moved into the finals in 1972, which she finished behind Antonella Ragno-Lonzi in silver. In 1976 she was sixth.
Her father was the wrestler Gyula Bóbis , who became Olympic champion in 1948 .
