Ilaria Salvatori
Ilaria Salvatori (born February 5, 1979 in Frascati ) is an Italian foil fencer and Olympic champion .

Ilaria Salvatori celebrated her first international success in 2003 when she won silver with the foil team at the European Championships in Bourges . At the European Fencing Championships in 2005 , the team won gold with them and bronze in 2007 . In 2008 at the Olympic Games in Beijing , she won bronze in the team competition behind Russia and the USA . In 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 the Italian team consisting of Elisa Di Francisca , Arianna Errigo , Ilaria Salvatori and Valentina Vezzali each won gold at the European Championships. They also won gold at the 2010 World Championships and silver in 2011 , only beaten by Russia. The team won gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London . She fought for the Centro Sportivo dell'Aeronautica Militare .
