Christine Muzio (born May 10, 1951 in Creil ; † November 29, 2018 ) was a French foil fencer .

successes

Christine Muzio was part of the French team at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and 1980 in Moscow . In 1976 she reached the final for the gold medal, unbeaten in the team competition, which the Soviet Union won 9-2, so that Muzio won the silver medal together with Brigitte Gapais-Dumont , Claudette Herbster-Josland , Brigitte Latrille-Gaudin and Véronique Trinquet . In 1980 she also reached the final against the Soviet Union with the French team without defeat and this time prevailed 9: 6. Together with Isabelle Boéri-Bégard , Brigitte Latrille-Gaudin, Véronique Brouquier and Pascale Trinquet , she became Olympic champion .
