Véronique Marie Trinquet (born June 15, 1956 in Marseille ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Véronique Trinquet was part of the French team at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal . With this she reached the final for the gold medal unbeaten in the team competition, in which the French team had to admit defeat to the Soviet Union 2: 9. Together with Brigitte Latrille-Gaudin , Brigitte Gapais-Dumont , Christine Muzio and Claudette Herbster-Josland , she therefore received the silver medal.
Her younger sister Pascale Trinquet was also a fencer and was twice Olympic champion .
