Claudette Herbster-Josland (born March 28, 1946 in Dijon ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Claudette Herbster-Josland took part in three Olympic Games . In 1968 she missed a medal win in Mexico City in the team competition with fourth place, four years later she was sixth with the team in Munich . At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , she reached the team competition unbeaten in the final for the gold medal, which the Soviet Union won 9: 2, so that Herbster-Josland together with Brigitte Latrille-Gaudin , Brigitte Gapais-Dumont , Christine Muzio and Véronique Trinquet die Silver medal received. At world championships she won bronze with the team in Moscow in 1966 and in Ankara in 1970 .
