Andrea Santarelli (born June 3, 1993 in Foligno ) is an Italian sword fencer .

successes

Andrea Santarelli achieved his first international success by winning the bronze medal in the team competition of the European Games 2015 in Baku . The following year he was at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro substitute in the team competition. With the Italian team he moved into the final against France , which the French won 45:31. Together with Marco Fichera , Paolo Pizzo and Enrico Garozzo , Santarelli, whose only appearance took place in the final, received the silver medal. At the European Championships he won silver with the team in Toruń in 2016 and bronze in Novi Sad in 2018 . In 2019 he became vice European champion in singles in Düsseldorf and won bronze in singles at the world championships in Budapest .
