Enrico Garozzo (born June 21, 1989 in Acireale ) is an Italian sword fencer .

successes

Enrico Garozzo achieved his first international success by winning the bronze medal in the individual competition of the 2014 World Cup in Kazan . At the European Championships he won silver with the team in Toruń in 2016 and bronze in Novi Sad in 2018 . Bronze in the singles followed in Düsseldorf in 2019 . Garozzo took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he finished ninth in the individual competition. With the Italian team he moved into the final against France , which the French won 45:31. Together with Marco Fichera , Paolo Pizzo and Andrea Santarelli , he received the silver medal.

His brother Daniele Garozzo is also a fencer.
