Maurice Fernand Piot (born July 14, 1912 in Saint-Quentin , † May 22, 1996 in Paris ) was a French saber fencer .
successes
Maurice Piot was vice world champion with the team in Monte Carlo in 1950 . Two years later, he took part in the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki , where he finished third with the team behind Hungary and Italy . With Jacques Lefèvre , Jean Levavasseur , Bernard Morel , Jean Laroyenne and Jean-François Tournon , he received the bronze medal.
His uncle Jean Piot was also a fencer, who became a two-time Olympic champion in 1932 .
