Jean-François Tournon (born August 6, 1905 in Bois-Colombes , † April 12, 1986 ibid) was a French saber fencer .
successes
Jean-François Tournon was vice world champion with the team in Piešťany in 1938 , in Cairo in 1949 and in Monte Carlo in 1950 . He also won bronze with her in 1954 in Luxembourg . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1948 he finished fifth in the team competition in London with the French team. At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , however , he finished the team competition behind Hungary and Italy in third place and received the bronze medal with Jacques Lefèvre , Jean Levavasseur , Bernard Morel , Jean Laroyenne and Maurice Piot . In the individual he was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
