Giancarlo Brusati (born March 6, 1910 in Milan , † June 30, 2001 in Barlassina , province of Monza and Brianza ) was an Italian fencer and sports official.
Life
Giancarlo Brusati was Italian champion in epee fencing in 1931 . He continued to win European championships in fencing with the sword in 1931 and 1933. At the Olympic Games in 1936 he won the gold medal in men's epee fencing with the team .
Brusati became Vice President of the Italian Fencing Federation in 1961 and remained so until 1981. From 1981 to 1984 he was President of the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime .
