Gianluigi Saccaro (born December 29, 1938 in Milan ) is a former Italian sword fencer .
Career
Gianluigi Saccaro took part in four Olympic Games . In 1960 he was Olympic champion in Rome with the team , four years later he won silver with her in Tokyo . In 1960 he narrowly missed winning a medal in fourth place, but in 1968 in Mexico City he managed to win the bronze medal. He finished sixth with the team. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , he was eliminated both individually and with the team in the first round. With the Italian team he was also world champion in 1957 in Paris and in 1958 in Philadelphia .
