Dario Mangiarotti (born December 18, 1915 in Milan , † April 9, 2010 in Lavagna ) was an Italian sword fencer .

Dario's father Giuseppe Mangiarotti was a successful sword fencer who won 17 Italian championship titles. In 1908 he opened a fencing hall in Milan, in which he introduced Italian epee fencers to the top of the world. His sons Dario and Edoardo Mangiarotti, a little over three years his junior, also belonged to his students .

Dario Mangiarotti won silver at the 1948 Olympic Games with the epee team, in which his brother was also a member. At the Fencing World Championships in Cairo in 1949 , Dario won gold both individually and with the team. The individual win was Dario's only title without fraternal support. At the 1952 Olympic Games , Dario won silver in the individual competition behind his brother and gold in the team competition with his brother.

After 1952, Dario devoted himself increasingly to the fencing school he had taken over from his father, which his brother later joined as a fencing master. The two brothers then acted as trainers for several generations of world-class fencers.
