Roland Losert (born January 6, 1945 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian fencer .

Roland Losert won the singles world championship in 1963 in Danzig ahead of Yves Dreyfus , after having won the junior title a few months earlier. He took part in the Olympic Games three times : at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo , he just missed winning a medal in individual with the foil, finishing fourth. With the sword, he finished ninth both individually and with the team. In 1968 he repeated this placement in Mexico City in the team competition with the epee, while he was eliminated in the second round in the individual competitions with the epee and the foil. Losert was the flag bearer of the Austrian delegation at the opening ceremony . He finished the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich with the epee team again in ninth place. In the individual he did not get past the second round again.

Losert fought for the Vienna Sports Club . His father Josef Losert was also a fencer at the Wiener Sport-Club and took part in the Olympic Games in 1936 . His sister Ingrid Losert was also a fencer.
