Zoltán Székely (born February 23, 1952 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian fencer .

successes

Zoltán Székely was world champion in Clermont-Ferrand in 1981 in the individual competition after beating Alexander Moschajew in the final , and he also won the bronze medal with the team. Also in 1981 he was third at the European Championships in Foggia . The following year he secured another World Cup bronze in the team competition in Rome . At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , he finished 20th in the individual after he was eliminated in the second round of the hopes. He finished the team competition with the Hungarian team in sixth place.
