Alexander Walentinowitsch Moschajew ( Russian Александр Валентинович Можаев ; born August 5, 1958 in Vladikavkaz , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet sword fencer .

successes

Alexander Moschajew was in Clermont-Ferrand in 1981 with the team world champion and vice world champion in individual. In the team competition he also won bronze in Barcelona in 1985 and silver in Sofia in 1986 . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he finished fifth in the individual competition in the final round. With the Soviet team he reached the battle for third place, in which Romania was defeated 9: 5. Together with Alexander Abuschachmetow , Aschot Karagjan , Boris Lukomski and Vladimir Smirnow , Moshayev won the bronze medal.
