Boris Semjonowitsch Lukomski ( Russian Борис Семёнович Лукомский ; born June 6, 1951 in Saratow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet sword fencer .

successes

Boris Lukomski won the world championships with the team first in 1973 in Gothenburg and 1977 in Buenos Aires bronze and 1978 in Hamburg silver before he became world champion with her in 1979 in Melbourne . In 1975 he was runner-up in the singles world championship in Budapest after winning bronze in Grenoble the year before . Lukomski took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1976 in Montreal he was 17th in the individual and fifth in the team competition. At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he improved to seventh place in the individual competition. With the Soviet team he reached the battle for third place, in which Romania was defeated 9: 5. Together with Alexander Abuschachmetow , Aschot Karagjan , Alexander Moschajew and Vladimir Smirnow Lukomski won the bronze medal.
