Jenő Pap (born December 15, 1951 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian fencer .

successes

Jenő Pap first became world champion in 1978 in Hamburg with the Degen team and also won the individual title in Rome in 1982 . For this success he was voted Hungary's Sportsman of the Year in 1982 . In 1974 in Grenoble and 1982 in Rome he also secured the bronze medal with the team. At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he finished sixth with the foil team, while he was eighth with the Degen team. In 1977 Pap became the Hungarian champion in the epee singles. In the team competition, he won the title seven times with the epee and once with the foil.
