Gaston Jules Louis Antoine Alibert (born February 22, 1878 in Paris , † December 26, 1917 there ) was a French fencer .
Life
Gaston Alibert took part in two Olympic Games . 1900 in London , he landed in the individual epee fencing competition in seventh place. At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was Olympic champion both individually and with the team . In the individual he reached the final , in which he landed in first place with five wins. In the team competition, the French team entered the battle for gold against Belgium after victories over Denmark and Great Britain , in which France remained victorious.
