Park Sang-young (born October 16, 1995 in Jinju ) is a South Korean sword fencer and Olympic champion .

Park Sang-young won the 2014 Junior World Championships in Moscow in the epee singles. In 2014 he won the individual Grand Prix du Qatar and Grand Prix de Berne , with the team he won silver at the World Championships . At a Grand Prix in Budapest in early 2015, he seriously injured his knee, so that he had to take a year off. After his recovery, he won silver at the 2016 Asian Championships in Wuxi and won gold in singles at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In the final battle he was against Géza Imre in the meantime back 11:14 and started a race to catch up until 15:14.
