Marcel Cyr Desprets (born August 19, 1906 in Saint-Quentin , † March 12, 1973 in Brignoles ) was a French sword fencer .

Marcel Desprets was world champion with the team in Lausanne in 1935 and in Lisbon in 1947 . He took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London , where he was eliminated in the individual competition in the semi-finals. In the team competition, he reached the final round with the French team, which France finished undefeated in first place. Besides Desprets were Édouard Artigas , Henri Lepage , Henri Guérin , Maurice Huet and Michel Pécheux thus Olympic champion .
