Jean-Michel Henry (born December 14, 1963 in Marseille ) is a former French sword fencer . He is an Olympic champion and became a world champion.

Jean-Michel Henry won numerous medals with the team at world championships . In 1983 in Vienna and 1994 in Athens he became world champion with her, and he took second place with her in 1990 in Lyon , 1993 in Essen and 1995 in The Hague . In 1994 he achieved the only podium finish with bronze. Henry took part in the Olympic Games four times and won a medal each time. In 1984 in Seoul he won silver with the team. Four years later he finished 18th in the singles in Los Angeles . With the team he reached the final against Germany after victories over Hungary and the Soviet Union , which France won 8: 3. In addition to Henry, Frédéric Delpla , Olivier Lenglet , Philippe Riboud and Éric Srecki were Olympic champions . At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , he won the bronze medal in singles after a final victory against Kaido Kaaberma . With the team he just missed another medal in fourth.
