Alfredo Pezzana (born March 31, 1893 in Turin ; † May 7, 1986 ibid) was an Italian fencer .
successes
Alfredo Pezzana was three times vice world champion in Liège in 1930 . Both in the epee singles and in the team competitions with the epee and the saber, he took second place. At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 he reached the final round unbeaten with the team, which Italy finished in first place without defeat. Together with Giancarlo Brusati , Giancarlo Cornaggia-Medici , Edoardo Mangiarotti , Saverio Ragno and Franco Riccardi , Pezzana became Olympic champion .
