Jean-Michel Lucenay (born April 25, 1978 in Fort-de-France , Martinique ) is a French sword fencer , Olympic champion and four-time world champion.

Was Jean-Michel Lucenay in Lisbon 2002 team world champion in 2003 he was in Bourges team European champion . In 2008 Lucenay took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing as a substitute fencer , but where he remained without use. At the European Championships in Kiev he won gold with the team and bronze in the epee singles behind Géza Imre and the German fencer Martin Schmitt . In 2009 he became team world champion in Antalya . In 2010 he became individual European champion in Leipzig and team world champion in Paris , where he also achieved bronze in the epee singles behind Nikolai Novosjolov and Gauthier Grumier . In 2011 he was again team world champion in Catania. In 2012 Lucenay won the French individual championship and won silver at the World Championships in Kiev with the Degen team, only defeated by the USA team. In 2014 he won bronze in singles at the European Championships in Strasbourg . In 2016 he became Olympic champion with the team in Rio de Janeiro .

For his Olympic victory at the end of 2016 he received the Knight's Cross of the Legion of Honor .
