Göran Ingmar Flodström (born January 27, 1953 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish sword fencer .

successes

Göran Flodström was world champion with the team in Grenoble in 1974 and in Budapest in 1975 . At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal he reached the final unbeaten in the team competition, in which the Swedish team beat Germany 8-5. Together with Rolf Edling , Carl von Essen , Leif Högström and Hans Jacobson , Flodström became Olympic champion . In the individual competition he took seventh place.
