Franco Riccardi (fencer)
Franco Riccardi (born June 13, 1905 in Milan , † May 24, 1968 in San Colombano al Lambro ) was an Italian sword fencer . He won three gold medals at the Olympics and was world champion twice.

Riccardi was a participant in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam . There he won the gold medal with the Degen team. Riccardi won bronze in singles at the International Championships in Naples in 1929 , silver with the team at the International Championships in Liège in 1930 and was team world champion in Vienna in 1931 .
At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , the team could not repeat their victory four years ago, but won silver behind the French team. In 1933 she was again team world champion in Copenhagen . In 1934 at the International Championships in Warsaw it was silver. At the Olympic Games in 1936 Riccardi was double Olympic champion in singles and with the team.
