Ödön Tersztyánszky
Ödön Tersztyánszky [ ˈødøn ˈtɛrscaːnski ] (born March 6, 1890 in Csákvár ; † June 21, 1929 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian fencer .
At the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris , Tersztyánszky won the bronze medal and saber the silver medal in the team competition foil . Four years later, at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , Tersztyánszky was double Olympic champion in saber fencing. He won the gold medal in both individual and team competitions .
He died on June 21, 1929 as a result of a serious car accident that he had suffered a few days earlier in Solymár .
