Vincenzo Cuccia (born March 20, 1892 in Palermo , † March 2, 1979 ibid) was an Italian fencer .
Career
Vincenzo Cuccia took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in two disciplines. In the team competition of saber fencing he remained with the Italian team without defeat and became Olympic champion together with Renato Anselmi , Guido Balzarini , Marcello Bertinetti , Bino Bini , Oreste Moricca , Oreste Puliti and Giulio Sarrocchi . Cuccia was also part of the Italian squad in the team competition with the sword, with which he reached third place. Together with Giulio Basletta , Marcello Bertinetti, Giovanni Canova , Virgilio Mantegazza and Oreste Moricca, he won the bronze medal.
