Virgilio Mantegazza (born January 30, 1889 in Milan , † July 3, 1928 there ) was an Italian sword fencer .
Career
Virgilio Mantegazza took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in two disciplines. In the individual competition, he finished sixth in the final round with six wins. With the Italian team he reached third place behind France and Belgium and won the bronze medal together with Giulio Basletta , Marcello Bertinetti , Giovanni Canova , Vincenzo Cuccia and Oreste Moricca .
