László Csongrádi (born July 5, 1959 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian saber fencer .
successes
At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 , László Csongrádi took part in the team competition as part of the Hungarian team. Unbeaten he reached the final fight against the Soviet Union , which ended in a 8-8 draw. Thanks to the better hit balance of 67:64, Hungary placed first, so that Csongrádi was Olympic champion together with Imre Bujdosó , Imre Gedővári , György Nébald and Bence Szabó . Two years later he was also runner- up with the team in Lyon . He was Hungarian team champion four times.
