Francesco Gargano (born May 5, 1899 in Grammichele , † October 29, 1975 in Gothenburg ) was an Italian saber fencer .

Career

Francesco Gargano took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in two disciplines. In the individual competition, he reached the final round, which he finished in eleventh place. In the team competition he remained without defeat with the Italian team and became Olympic champion together with Dino Urbani , Aldo Nadi , Nedo Nadi , Oreste Puliti , Giorgio Santelli and Baldo Baldi .
