Robert Habros

Robert Habros (* in the 20th century ) is a special effects artist .

Life

Habros began his career in 1986 with the adventure film Space Camp . By the mid-1990s he worked on a few other feature films, including Bill & Ted's Crazy Journey through Time and Army of Darkness . In 1997 he switched to television, where he initially worked on the Stargate series - Kommando SG-1 . He then worked on Outer Limits - The Unknown Dimension and Eureka - The Secret City, among others . In the 2010s he worked on the series Fringe - Borderline Cases of the FBI and UnREAL . Between 1998 and 2014 he was nominated four times for an Emmy for his work . His work includes around 40 film and television productions.

In 2002 he appeared as a director for the first time and so far once and directed an episode of the series Outer Limits - The Unknown Dimension .

2010 he was responsible for Neill Blomkamp science fiction film District 9 together with Dan Kaufman , Peter Muyzers and Matt Aitken for the Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects nominated, but the award this year went to James Cameron's Avatar - Film Title . Habros also missed out in the Best Visual Effects category at the BAFTA Film Awards .
