Julien Pillet (born September 28, 1977 in Dijon ) is a French saber fencer , Olympic champion and world champion.

At the European Fencing Championships in 1997 , Julien Pillet won bronze in the saber singles, in 1999 he was team world champion , team European champion and won bronze in singles at the European Championships. In 2000 he took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney and won silver with the team, in the individual, he finished twelfth. In 2001 he won silver both individually and with the team at the European Championships, and also silver at the individual World Championships . At the World Championships in 2002 it was again silver in the individual again only beaten by Stanislaw Posdnjakow . At his second Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 , he won gold with the team, in the individual it was eleventh place. In 2005 he won bronze with the team at the World Championships . In 2006 he was again team world champion , at the European championship it was bronze in the individual. At the 2007 World Championships he won silver with the team, at the EM bronze with the team. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 Pillet again received gold with the team, in fourth place in the individual. In 2009 he won silver in singles and bronze with the Saber team at the European Championships .
