Cevat Nezihi Özkaya

Cevat Nezihi Özkaya (* 1951 in Ankara ) is a Turkish diplomat .

Life

Nezihi Özkaya is married. He graduated from TED Ankara College Foundation Schools and studied political science at Ankara University .

• 1976: Joined the foreign service as third-class legation secretary in the international security department.
• 1978: Secretary of the second class in the Multinational Department.
• 1979: Legation Secretary, second, first class in Bonn .
• 1982: Secretary of the second, first class in Tripoli .

• 1986: Representative of the Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Council in Brussels.

• 2000: Head of the South Asia, Far East and Pacific Department.
• 2001: Ambassador in Muscat (Oman).
• 2005: Ministerial Director of the Administration and Budget Department (MİDY).
• 2009: Advisor to the Prime Minister on the Cyprus conflict .
• 2011 to 2015: Ambassador in Minsk (Belarus).
