Won Woo-young (born February 3, 1982 in Seoul ) is a South Korean saber fencer , Olympic champion and world champion.
successes
In 2006 Won Woo-young won bronze in the saber singles at the World Championships in Turin . In 2010 he was individual world champion in Paris , 2011 in Seoul Asia champion in individual and also with the team. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , Won Woo-young received gold with the team, in the individual he finished twelfth. At the Asian Championships in Wakayama , he won silver in singles.
