Sándor Gombos (born December 4, 1895 in Sombor , † January 27, 1968 in Budapest ) was Olympic champion in saber fencing with the Hungarian team in Amsterdam in 1928 . In the individual competition, he took fifth place.

In 1997, Gombos was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame .
